Today, we undertook the cleaning of 3rd Cross - (between 5th Main & Nandidurg Road)
Found this road very dirty. The drains were covered with mud and had trash all over, though this road has an entrance to Gulabi Girls' High School & The Karnataka Council for Child Welfare. It is being used by hundreds of children, putting them to health risk.
We received complaints that this road does not get regularly cleaned by BBMP.
Today, only a small stretch of the drain on one side could be cleaned.
Response from residents to volunteer for supervision of cleaning has been very disappointing. Hope more residents will volunteer for this Clean-Up Drive soon.
