Clean - up of Central Excise & Income Tax Quarters premises

A lot of garbage from the Central Excise and Income Tax Quarters used to be left on side-walks by the residents due to many reasons like, irregular pickup and inconvenient time of collection.  

To address this problem, Team Cijma met the Additional Commissioner of Central Excise and requested for bins to be installed within their premises.  With active support of their care takers, Mr Shafiullah Mohammad & Mr Varaprasad 6 bins were installed after which, the residents stopped throwing garbage on the foot paths.

Unfortunately, one of the bin was inaccessible to the residents as a result of which, the bin installed on the 1st Main was still overflowing and left in a mess by the CE & IT residents.

Team Cijma cleaned up the area around the bin to make it convenient  for the residents to use & one more bin will be moved to the same place.   Hope littering the foot path will now stop.

The solution is not in dumping garbage indiscriminately but to find the right way of disposing it without littering.  We hope there will be full co-operation by all.
